THE DEEP SAD PART TWO
The second part took a while and it isn't really a proper newsletter, just a thank you.
Last week was a rough week. I had to step away from a lot of things. Sav’s visa getting refused threw me into a spin but hey, the dizziness has almost fully subsided so let’s talk a little bit more about being sad. I mean it is my speciality. I mean, if this was a quiz show and the topic was sad, I’d be ya boy. I mean my Spotify name is SAD BOY. Life is a crazy whirlwind and if you are still here reading these things I appreciate you more than I can show. I am back. I am here. I am healthy. I am okay. And I guess this is an important lesson because if you need time then go and take that time. I have discussed the immense pressure of social media and its demanding daily efforts and draining you in the process in detail before but this is just one thing many abandon health for. Sometimes we aren’t in the right place to do the things we need to do. And that is okay. Sometimes today isn’t the day. Pushing back against that wall will end terribly. Some days just need to wash over you. Some weeks. Some months. I understand the want and on occasion the feeling of needing to do something for somebody and believing if you don’t, you are a terrible person. I understand how some people think taking time for themselves will affect their online presence. Will effect their numbers and honestly, it might, however, your health is more important and your real supporters stick with you through the bad times too. I took some time for myself and in no way will I ever feel guilty for that. Admitting you need to focus on yourself and actually doing it is vital. Thank you for being here. Now go love yourself. I think that might be a song. *Googling*. Wow so Justin Beiber totally used go love yourself yo say ‘go f**k yourself’ but I mean it in a genuine non-sarcastic way. You should go and love yourself. I will see you next week. Back at it properly. Wednesdays and Weekends (paid only). I cannot wait.
Choo choo! All aboard! The Beiber express to danceville has arrived and no, I am not sorry.
