This is a poem about a cassette I recently preordered. It’s about finding hope in the things that don’t make you think of hope. Technology is great because without it I wouldn’t be here writing these things but sometimes technology is too much. We rely on it for all things and I miss physical media. I miss notepads and even though Spotify is easier, I prefer carrying my mp3 player. I prefer books than digital files. Everything is right here and I miss it being there. Anyway this is called ‘The Cassette’. Enjoy.
