Welcome to the Thursday edition of mind noise because I thought yesterday was Tuesday because that’s how tired I am. Either that or Wednesday straight up didn’t show up for its shift. Either way, I am here and you are here so let us get cracking.

Spring is officially here. The clocks have rearranged themselves. The flowers have begun blooming. The breeze is cool and the temperature is warm. Britain is essentially closed until April so the ground isn’t the only thing we get to see bloom here. It is nice to see the world around me slowly come alive and prepare for the season. I have felt linked with the downtime. Almost shut myself down over these last few months and found it hard to break free of the weight around me. I am brave enough to call it hibernation. Know enough about my mind to know that it goes through these phases. Much like the weather, humans have seasons too. They aren’t as strictly defined and they don’t have a tight time schedule but we are seasons. It is vital to acknowledge how we change and the places we frequently find ourselves. Self-honesty is the only way we ever progress. Today I want to leave this short and sweet. End it with a simple question. What are you most excited about this season?

I’m so happy spring is finally here (despite the snow today…!)…I agree, we all have seasons and it’s important to acknowledge that. The longer days always fill me with hope and a certain joy knowing that there’ll be so many more days I can tilt my face up to the sunshine…
